From
Harrisburg/Philadelphia: Take Pennsylvania Turnpike west
to Exit 110 (Somerset); after exiting, turn right at second traffic
light onto North Center Avenue. Proceed to center of town (past
Courthouse on left); turn right one block after Courthouse onto
West Main Street (Route 31 West). Follow Route 31W for approximately
six miles (past Oakhurst Tea Room). One mile past Oakhurst, at
bottom of hill, turn left on Trent Road toward Pioneer Park, Trent,
and Seven Springs. We are three miles from that turn, located on
the left side of the road. (There's a small log cabin on the left
about 1/4 mile before our driveway.) Look for our blue Log Haven
sign (lighted after dark) and our address on the mailbox (1322).
From
Baltimore/Washington, DC/Northern Virginia: Take I-70/270
past Frederick and Hagerstown to Breezewood. Take Pennsylvania

Pittsburgh and Ohio: Take Pennsylvania Turnpike east to
Exit 91 (Donegal). After toll booth, turn left on Route 31 and
follow
it
over the mountain toward Somerset, past the entrance to Hidden
Valley Resort and through the village of Bakersville, a distance
of about 8-10 miles. As you pass Bakersville, you will see a CoGo's
Mini-Mart (and gas station) on the left. A short distance ahead,
make a right turn on Trent Road toward Seven Springs, Laurel Hill
State Park, and Pioneer Park. (It's well marked with signs.) We
are three miles from that turn, located on the left side of the
road. (There's a small log cabin on the left about 1/4 mile before
our driveway.) Look for our blue Log Haven sign (lighted after
dark) and our address on the mailbox (1322). [Note: During the
winter you
may
want to
continue on the Turnpike to Exit 110 (Somerset) instead of coming
over the mountain on Route 31. See preceding directions starting
at the Somerset exit.]
From
Fallingwater to Log Haven: Turn left onto Route 381 when
leaving the main entrance to Fallingwater. Follow Route 381 North
about 10-11 miles to the town of Indianhead. Make a right turn
onto Indianhead Road. Follow this road for about 4 miles until
it intersects with County Line Road (Y-type intersection). Bear
right at this intersection. About 3.3 miles later you will pass
the main entrance to Seven Springs Resort. Proceed straight ahead
for about five miles (you will pass Trenthouse Inn on the left
along the way). Make a left turn onto Trent Road when you see signage
for "To Route 31" and "Oakhurst". There is
a red brick church on the left-hand side at this intersection.
You are now only about a half mile from us. Look for our blue Log
Haven B&B sign (lighted after dark) on the right side of the
road at the end of our driveway.
From
Seven Springs Mountain Resort to Log Haven: Turn
right onto County Line Road when leaving the main entrance to
Seven Springs (this road becomes Copper Kettle Highway in a few
miles). Proceed about three miles or so ... you will pass Trenthouse
Inn on the left. About a mile beyond Creekside Market, turn left
onto
Trent Road (there is a red brick church on the left
corner). About a half mile after turning onto Trent Road, look
for our blue sign (lighted after dark) on the right side of the
road at the end of our driveway and our address number (1322)
on the
mailbox.
From
Morgantown, WV: Take I-68 east toward Cumberland. Exit
at Route 26 intersection and take Route 26 North towards Markleysburg.
Route 26 becomes Route 281 at the Pennsylvania line. Remain on
Route 281 thru the small towns of Confluence, Ursina, Kingwood
and New Lexington. When you get to New Centerville (there is a
yellow blinker light), turn left onto Copper Kettle Highway. Go
3+ miles on this road and make a right turn onto Trent Road (there
will be highway signs pointing toward Laurel Hill State Park and
Bakersville). There is a little red brick church on the corner.
About a half mile after turning onto Trent Road, look for our blue
sign (lighted after dark) on the right side of the road at the
end of our driveway and our address number (1322) on the mailbox.
From
I-68 in Western Maryland: Exit I-68 at its intersection
with Route 219 (Exit #22). Follow Route 219 north … through
the towns of Salisbury and Meyersdale to Garrett. (You'll see giant
windmills on top of the hills that are generating electricity as
you approach Garrett.) Pick up Route 653 in Garrett (a left turn
off of Route 219 as you approach Garrett) and follow it into Rockwood
and on to New Centerville. At the blinker light in New Centerville,
proceed straight ahead on Copper Kettle Highway. (Note: Route 653
turns left at the blinker; do not turn left). Three miles later
watch for Trent Road and highway signs for a right turn toward
Laurel Hill State Park and Bakersville. There is a little red brick
church on the corner. About a half mile after turning onto Trent
Road, look for our blue sign (lighted after dark) on the right
side of the road at the end of our driveway and our address number
(1322)
on
the
mailbox.
